Quince sweet
Quince sweet, also called quince paste or ate (in Mexico), is a sweet prepared from the quince fruit. It is originally from Spain (where there are typical production areas such as Puente Genil) and from Portugal. Quince, membrillate or codoñate sweet is used in Latin American gastronomy, mainly Argentine, Uruguayan, Chilean and Mexican.
